Do you think they will add that in 2002? Or will we still have to wait until two hours before?

No.

>>Or will we still have to wait until two hours before?<<
Yes, unless you are Gold or Silver and pay full fare (in which case you will be upgraded at time of ticketing).

Once apon a time there was reciprocal treatment of CO/HP frequent flyers on the two airlines.

According to my insider at Flight Fund numerous complaints were recieved from Flight Fund elites about the competition from OnePass elites for upgrades.

The result is the system that exists today, it's what Flight Fund elites wanted.

Will never happen. The upgrade agreement between CO and HP does not allow for EUA. If it did, I would fly HP a lot more to the west coast!

Hell hath no fury like that of an elite frequent flyer in coach.

In another topic in this forum the elite matching program is discussed. If you are a corporate member, HP will match elite status with any other airline (I know most airlines do this anyway, but through the corporate program others have done it more than once). So, now I am Gold on CO AND HP, not just a CO gold having to wait till two hours prior for the upgrade.
