I'll be flying out of TLV in early March on a 7 AM flight.
Anybody know of a regularly scheduled minyan at the airport? Perhaps close by?

Perhaps close by? apirchik Feb 3, 03, 1:59 pm oops [This message has been edited by apirchik (edited 02-09-2003).] LatusElAl Feb 3, 03, 2:48 pm I meant minyan as in tefilla. goodo Feb 4, 03, 1:34 am I've seen the chabad house at TLV but not sure about minyanim. goodo LatusElAl Feb 4, 03, 3:03 am I know there is a shul (bet knesset) downstairs at the far right of the check-in hall - but I've never actually seen a minyan there. argent00 Feb 4, 03, 3:12 am there are three places in lod to daven.on the ground floor where you check in all the way to the right is a shul that presently davens at sunrise allthough many times they dont have a minyan.it is located next to BA check in sometimes when BA has alot of charedim there can be more than one minyan.sunrise is at 645 and is getting earlier.in one months time it will be 32 minutes earlier.there are two ways to calculate sunrise-netz hanireh and netz astronomy,this minyan goes with the later which is the time i have noted.When you go upstairs after security is a chabad center staffed with mishichistim if you dont mind davening with the non believers as i myself have davened there on many an occassion.Finally there is a shul also upstairs that is a little hard to find.It is opposite gate 40 or 41.Follow signs or ask info.They usually have a minyan there but it depends,if you are out on Swiss or Allitalia,that is to early to daven.Later flights usually have a minyan.If you are a bit industrious you organize the minyan otherwise you have peopel split between all the places.I have requested the information booth to announce a minyan but they refuse to do so.Meharsayich Umachrevaich Memech Yetzeu.Hope this covers all angels. dhammer53 Feb 7, 03, 9:52 pm Just as an aside, when we flew Air Canada to/from TLV, I got a real kick out of seeing so many men praying on an airplane.
