What's better:

21A or 30A?

21 is the first row of coach and if memory serves has reasonable legroom.

30 is the exit row - but. . .
- is there actually a window there (impt for me)
- how is the legroom? (I am used to the 744 and 777).

Thanks

21A is pretty good but in my opinion, 30A is a much better seat. There is a window there (at least there was on the one I flew on last) although I think there is a blank panel on the 2 ex Air France 762's (you can tell which they are using - if the aircraft code on the online timetable is 767 it's one which was always EL AL but if its 762 it's one of the ex-AF ones).

Word of warning, these seats are good for knee room but there is a wall in front of it so you can't stretch out fully. However, the legroom throughout Y is not so great so you will be better off there anyway.

Last point, if you are not a GL or PL, you are extremely unlikely to get 21A pre-assigned - you might luck out and get 30A but these are "premium seats".

Thanks for the response. I am a PL and they automatically gave me 30A w/o my even asking. Does the door protrude out into your legroom the way it does on the 744?

No - the "door" at 30A is just a panel - it does not stick out at all. Word of advice - grab a blanket because your legs can get cold sitting in that seat!

Forgot to mention - you cannot see the film in either 21A or 30A as the screens are across from you.

Have a great flight ...
