Gulf Air WANTS is different from "Oneworld / Star Alliance" WANTS Gulf Air.
Depending on who gets EMIRATES, Gulf Air might have to take the other alliance.
Well, there's always SKYTEAM.

With the missing partner in western-Asia and looking at Korea nowadays maybe they want a more attracting partner.
