Other Middle East and Africa Frequent Flyer Programs - EK questions

I'm flying LHR-DXB-MLE and back in a week's time, all in economy. Does anyone know:-
1. Do economy pax get amenity packs, and if so what's in them?
2. Do the headrests have wings to keep your head up?
3. Is the 10-abreast 777 layout truly awful?

The older seats all have wings; not sure about the new ones, which do look narrow.

Emirates is planning to recude its capacity on it's existing fleet, and they're buying up to 50 Airbus 340-600/A380-800/B777-300ER in the near future.

773HD will have 330 seats instead of cureent 380 seats.

The answers were:-[list=1] No. I was glad I brought my own. Yes on the 330 (although some didn't work well) and nothing detectable on the 777 (maybe they worked even less well). The 777 seat is noticeably narrower than the 330 but there is some offset in that the pitch is rather better. I was still more comfortable on the 330, and I would definitely try to avoid the 777 if I could.[/list=a]Many thanks for everyone's input and help!
