Other Asian, Australian and South Pacific Frequent Flyer Programs - China Eastern Airlines

Hoping someone can offer me an opinion on China Eastern Airlines. I am planning a trip from Sydney to Shanghai and Beijing and know that Qantas used to code-share with China Eastern on these routes.

How is the service, food and seats in economy? Any reasons why I should not consider flying them?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
