China Crash: Black Box Recovered
Search teams are reported to have recovered one of the two "black box" flight recorders from the submerged wreckage of the China Northern Airlines plane which crashed off the country's north east coast last week.
A massive salvage operation has been going on since the MD-82, on a flight from Beijing, went down six miles off-shore as it approached Dalian Airport. All 112 people on board were killed.
Since the accident, China's aviation authority has banned late night flights on domestic routes, ordered an inspection of all commercial aircraft and called for stricter management procedures at airports.
