Other European Frequent Flyer Programs - Finnair Business JFK to HEL

I have used 150K AAdvantage miles for a OW J ticket CLE-HKG-SYD-other Oz-BKK-HKG-CLE. I'm contemplating paying $100 change fee to do BKK after HKG, then MUniCh on the way home.
I can leave BKK on AY @ 12:50 MID. via HEL to arrive MUC 9:30 AM,

or on QF @ 12:30 MID. via LHR, then BA to arrive @ 10:35 AM.

Sounds like QF/BA for the superior service (if available). How about it? BTW, I'm contemplating Jan. 28. HEL will be frozen over http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif & may be snowed in.

Hehe http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif Well, in reality, operations in HEL are very rarely affected by snowstorms etc. Snowing in Finland is usually not that intense as in many places in North America, and HEL ground staff is used to dealing with snow effectively.

I would consider routing BKK-HKG-LHR-MUC (Or indeed BKK-HKG-FRA, buying a cheap LH ticket for FRA-MUC or you could ride the ICE [Express/Bullet Train]).

In terms of pure seating - your best bet will be BA10 BKK-LHR, leaving at roughly 23:00. BA J Service is deeply lacking when compared to CX.
