Other European Frequent Flyer Programs - Miles from Award Tix

Has anyone ever had any experience being able to accrue miles on Alitalia from a Delta award ticket?

Just to note, the D booking code that I have for Alitalia (according to DL's website) is not present in a revenue catagory although it is under DL's booking codes...
