JetBlue TrueBlue - Class Act!

I heard this from two people today- they both heard the same local news report. This occurred on Feb 17th when JFK was basically closed down.

JetBlue bused in passengers from Buffalo to Rochester airport (abt 60 miles)- flew to Syracuse (abt 75 miles) and picked up more passengers.

They then flew direct to Florida - bypassing the JFK connection. They claimed that they knew it was a winter school break and were trying to accomodate the families.

I'm impressed!

They had enough equipment outside of JFK to accomplish this? Quite respectible!

I heard something similar out of Albany the other day. Southwest was flying a non-scheduled flight to move people around so they could get where they needed to.

I think that its this classic respect and care for passengers that sets airlines such as JetBlue and SW high on the customer satisfaction scale!

Wow! I wish this had been in the news (or has it and I just missed it?). People will come back for service and they completely went above and beyond the call of duty. It's all about how you treat people and majors like Continental just don't understand this.

That story was on a news tv channel. A woman was interviewed at the Rochester airport, stating that an agent 'put a new flight together to get a planeload to Florida.' The woman and her husband were the last 2 people to get booked on that flight, and - man, were they happy!
