America West FlightFund (Discontinued Program) - Lower Fares Now Landing in Toronto; America West Cuts Its Already Low Fares

America West Airlines (NYSE: AWA - news) does it again, offering popular low fares during the peak travel season to its customers' preferred destinations. America West today announced a fare sale for flights to and from Toronto.

Tickets can be purchased from now through February 19, 2001, for travel from Feb. 17 to May 31, 2001. A seven-day advance purchase and Saturday night stay are required. The maximum stay is 30 days.

America West must have some real problems filling seats to Toronto. It seems they have a sale on this route every few weeks. This latest price is the lowest yet and is eligible for a 5% discount for online booking. I am quite happy with the competition HP provides on this route, as fares to Toronto were VERY high (usually $400) from Phoenix before.
