America West FlightFund (Discontinued Program) - America West Reports Record January Traffic

America West Airlines (NYSE: AWA - news) today reported record traffic statistics for the month of January 2001. Revenue passenger miles (RPM) for January were a record 1.5 billion, up 13.9 percent from January 2000. Capacity increased 12.3 percent in January to a record 2.4 billion available seat miles (ASM). The passenger load factor for the month was 63.0 percent compared with 62.1 percent in January 2000.
