We flew HP last week to New Orleans. On the way back one of us on the same itinerary was upgraded at midnight before, but the other one wasn't. Both flyers are silver elite. When we checked in they said I would be next on the standby list. Then we were told there was one ahead of me, then 2. My husband opted to "lose" his upgrade and we sat in the back. I called the serice center this week and was told the rule is that this situation should have upgraded us together. What should we do? What should we ask customer care for?
