America West FlightFund (Discontinued Program) - Missing Miles

I am perplexed. How can an airline not verify that I was on a flight ? I took a trip BOS-PHX then PHX-LA-BOS. They credited me for the whole trip but the PHX-LA portion.

I sent in a request for the mileage and they rejected for lack of documentation (I no longer had my boarding pass). I then called and they said unless I could produce a boarding pass I was out of luck.

You would think for such a small segment in the middle of the itinerary - they would just give me the miles (do they think I walked from Phoenix to LA).

If this was an electronic ticket they can easily look at the ticket number and verified that you flew. Let us know.

It was an electronic ticket. I gave them my confirmation number and ticket number but they said they could not confirm and thus no miles.

Talk to a manager not a supervisor.
