Secondly, a new benefit has been added to the Platinum Elite program. Members achieving Platinum elite status at any time during the 2001 program year will now be given the opportunity to nominate another member of their choice to Silver Elite status. So, instead of just bragging about the great benefits you receive as an Elite member, you'll be able to share them as well. Plus, for every additional 25,000 qualifying flight miles or 30 qualifying segments, each Platinum Elite member will receive one additional upgrade nomination.
