America West FlightFund (Discontinued Program) - AWA - TWA Codeshare Agreement

Trans World Airlines, Inc. and America West Airlines, Inc. today announced a code share alliance that will provide travelers with new, on-line connections to 145 cities in the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean and Mexico.

Does anyone know if FF bonuses will be given if one flies, for example, on Am. West but wants FF credit on TWA. TWA have bonus miles based on member level - but unsure miles one gets if flying on partner. Also do those miles count toward Elite status?

No straight answers on that yet one way or the other. It'd be silly for them not to be treated as such, so it may just be an oversight of the announcement. Or who knows?
