Frontier Airlines Discontinues Service to Boston
Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT - News) today announced it will no longer serve Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), effective Oct. 22, 2002. Frontier currently offers two daily round-trip flights between BOS and its Denver International Airport hub (DEN). Frontier will continue to operate its regularly scheduled Boston flights through Oct. 21, 2002. Ticketed passengers, passengers holding reservations, or passengers desiring to make reservations for flights to or from Boston do not need to alter their travel plans prior to Oct. 21, 2002. Frontier will begin contacting those passengers who are currently holding tickets for travel into/out of Boston on or after Oct. 22, 2002, to assist in re-accommodating them.
