Mileage Run Deals - Tri-state Region to Italy

For the past year, I keep seeing these EXTREMELY CHEAP airfares from NJ/NY/PA to Italy. Now, I need to go there on music business, and I can't find ONE! I have seen Newark to Amsterdam to Paris to Rome for $200, and I am looking for that again. Via train to plane to train to lay-over... I don't care. I want to go to Italy for the cheapest price possible. I know they are out there, and I want them. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I am presuming this isn't really a "mileage run" because you make no mention of a preferred airline... and welcome to FT!

Assuming you are just looking to get to italy cheap, I see flights to FCO for $260/rt from JFK on BA. Requires saturday night stayover. Fare valid for travel monday through wednesday (pending availability). 7 day minimum advance purchase required.
