A check of travelocity hkg to pwm shows the trip for $00 ???

Fare basis has been over-rided already. Interesting to see if anyone got this fare.

I can't speak to this instance because I didn't see the info personaly; however, I have seen fares of $0 in the past. When I called Sabre or the airline about them I was told they were either companion fares (buy one get one free) or occasionaly child fares. Usually these were not 'visible' with fare quote requests but sometimes they did display.

No it hasn't

Go to dream maps and look at the aif fares for destinatiosn in North America. Put in HKG as the departure airport and set a low limit - say $300.

You will see that Portland comes up with a fare of $00.

BTW.. what good does this do you if you are in the states? It's HKG - PWN and not PWN - HKG, right?

Great deal, but I fail to see its value unless u live in Hong Kong...

We do have quite a few flyertalkers from HKG and mamy more who frequent the lovely city.

Consider this also...

If you somehow COULD book it you could buy two and use half of each. That's back to back ticketing - whether the airline would like you doing it is another matter.
