Hello all! I am so excited to find this board! I've been reading and I went back 60 days. I also read the "primer". I went to Expedia and got the information on the flights, but when I try to go and find them, I can only get up to 3 segments each way. I am specifically looking at flights out of BWI (competetive to Southwest)on US Air. I looked at Nashville, FLL and MCO. What am I missing?

Thanks,
Amy

Welcome to FlyerTalk. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

When I first found this site, I went back and skimmed all the posts (including Archives) to absorb the wisdom of gurus like keithguy and tvl4free. Keep reading if you want to master the subject. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

On multiple segments, try itn.net and on other search engines try inputing cities in your searches that necessitate a connection. That way, each segment you enter on a multi-city itinerary may give you two segments. Sometimes I look for low-fare availability segment by segment and then just call the airline to book. Good luck. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Welcome to FT Emolly!!

I was using Expedia the other day looking for MR flights and this is how I was able to see different routings with different prices.

I put in the intial departure city and the final destination city. Expedia will then show you some complete trips. To get different possible routings, try using the Build your own trip link above the Expedia picks summary squares. Pick the airline you want. This will show you all the possible flight combinations from your departure to your destination. Don't worry about the flights that say "select to see prices". When I choose one of these flights, I got a price that was lower than the completed trip prices is showed me in the beginning and the trip had a stop in IAH instead of CLE.

Good luck...
