Mileage Run Deals - $198 RT LGB-JFK-BWI, double milesAA

Saw a midweek fare, from LGB, its double miles from LGB-JFK (2460 x 2). Also good fares LGB-BOS !
So for me, A Plat =17,790 miles RT , so its almost a cent a mile

when is it?

Are the double miles also from JFK to LGB? Is it only on special fares?

I think its also available from JFK, if Im not mistaken you must register. Im also looking into this, but would not do it midweek, but weekends.
