I am heading to ATL in October for work, so figure I may as well make it a milage run. Would love to really go crazy here as I have time. Anyone know what good routings might work here? I need UA/AC. I am thinking of trying to include MCO/IAD somewhere maybe?

Any ideas appreciated then i will start playing

Found this itinerary from SEA:

11oct SEA1125PDX1317 UA6693
PDX1355DEN1716 UA594
DEN1830ATL2324 UA1248

16Oct ATL1240DEN1345 UA1191
DEN1430PDX1659 UA1407
PDX1635SEA1722 UA6696

ttl CAD inc tax 477.51 in -W- class. The dates are just a sample.

Just a shot in the dark. My UA/AC routing expertise not up to what I can do with CO/NW routings.

- Are you staying over a Sat night stay?
- How long do you need in ATL?

Don't think you could include IAD or MCO because you have to go pass ATL to get there and domestic fares don't allow stopovers.

You could try...

YVR-SEA-PDX-SFO-PHX-DEN-ATL

Depending on what the flight times are like, you can cut some connection points out of it.

This is the SEA-ATL permissible routing.

SEA-SFO-MCO-IAD-ATL is doable if you force an overnight in MCO...

Thanks for the ideas....MCO/ORL might be pushing it as I do have to get to the conference in ATL http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif I found:

YVR-PDX-SFO-ORD-ATL
ATL-DEN-SFO-PDX-YVR

6716 status miles, which seems pretty good.
Cost is about $700 CDN, but work will pay for this one.

I would simply go YVR-YYZ-ATL with AC but of course unless I upgrade it is not 100% miles on the YVR-YYZ route. Can't afford to gamble with status miles - and a lottery ticket (AC H class) is nearly $1400. I think AC will lose the business here, this 50/75% miles is so dumb!!

I was going to reply here, but will take it to the AC board as it is more appropriate (and maybe someone at AC will take notice)...
See u over there
