MilesBuzz! - Anyone ever buy an independent travel agency?

I have seen mention of these in newspapers, magazines, and on the internet. I have browsed some of their websites, and can't figure out of these are all scams, or not... Global Travel is the one that I saw in a couple of newspaper articles. But there are other ones that are less expensive.

Does anyone know anything about any of these companies?

A few words of advice about becoming an Independent Travel Agent. Go lay down until the feeling goes away. A true waste of your time and your money. Even if you had a huge client base or travel so much yourself; it is not worth the effort.

Donnnnnnnnn't Do it. No matter how hard they sell you, it is not worth it. Just go out to your friendly neighborhood travel agent and tell them you want to be an outside agent and it won't cost you a dime.
