MilesBuzz! - Seat Availability from a Wireless Internet Phone

I asked this once before but no one responded so I'm going to try again.

I have a SprintPCS phone that has that nice wireless web feature but it requires sites that are written using the Wireless Application Protocol (SAP).

I'd like to find a way of finding airline seat availability by class from my SprintPCS phone, the way that we all use ITM. Anyone have any ideas?

I haven't done it myself, but it's my understanding that Yahoo is WAP-enabled and can be reached by Sprint PCS WAP-enabled phone. Yahoo's Travel is run by Travelocity.

Has anybody tried it? I'm wondering whether the WAP-enabled Yahoo provides much information.

About 41 keystrokes to enter all that information from a wap enabled phone as there are not yet true graphics and pull downs etc. I dont think the wireless world is quite there yet. I havent been to the yahoo site but if its typical for info entry I would just call a travel agent or the airline direct and ask.

TW

BTW I have a Sprint wap enable phone too

The trouble is that I want to know what seats are available for upgrade BEFORE I call the airline. This is especially true with capacity controls.
