If you use Blue Cross as your health insurer, you can now use a credit card and earn miles when making a payment.

Thanks Tenacious! That's great news, especially since I had not figured out a way to earn miles with the checking account deduction.

Not necessarily true.

The various Blue Cross and Blue Shield insurers are independent and locally owned companies that have different billing and payment procedures and options. Some might allow premium payment by credit cards, but that doesn't mean all do so.

Blue Cross is a brand and an association of companies, not a single company. Saying "Blue Cross does X" is meaningless unless the particular operator is identified.
