Vanguard Airlines Reports April Traffic
KANSAS CITY, Mo., May 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Vanguard Airlines, Inc. (Nasdaq: VNGD - news) reported traffic for the month of April 2001 of 92.9 million revenue passenger miles (RPMs). Capacity was 129.9 million available seat miles (ASMs). April load factor was 71.5 percent, the highest ever for the airline in April.
Traffic increased 10 percent for the month from 84.2 million RPMs in April 2000. Capacity decreased five percent from 136.7 million ASMs in April 2000. Load factor increased 9.9 points from 61.6 percent in April 2000.
