Vanguard Airlines, Inc. (Nasdaq: VNGD - news) today continued its expansion with the announcement of service to Las Vegas and San Francisco beginning April 1, 2001. Vanguard will offer one daily nonstop flight each way between its hometown hub of Kansas City and both Las Vegas and San Francisco. With this new service, Vanguard will grow to 66 peak-day flights, connecting 14 cities from coast to coast via its hub. Fares from Las Vegas and San Francisco will start as low as $69 each way, based on a roundtrip purchase and other restrictions.
