National Airlines Comps - National to Seattle?

Does anyone know if National will now speed up its service start to Seattle since American announced it will no longer serve this market?

What do you mean American will no longer service Seattle. I know American now flys non-stop from Seattle to Boston.

What American canceled was the Reno-Seattle Route. You'll now have to go through LAX or San José instead.

I did not mean to say American was getting out of the Seattle Market, I meant to say American is no longer serving the SEA/RNO LAS market. True, you can fly American to LAS/RNO via SJO but what it boils down to is American does not want to support direct service between these city pairs.

On Nationals web site they mention Seattle as a future city they will serve. I am wondering if National will speed up the start of this service now.

If given the choice between non-stop/direct service or changing planes in San Jose, most people will choose the direct route.
