With all Japanese media confirming the merger between JAL and JAS, one has to wonder whether this new company will retain JAS' current ties to KLM and Northwest, especially in light of NW's hub in Narita.
While JAL does have bilateral agreements (codeshares, mileage accrual) with many carriers, I somehow cannot see JAL, obviously the dominant partner in this JAL-JAS merger, giving systemwide miles and elite privileges to Wings members...
