DADISGARYK Aug 9, 03, 6:18 pm I, for one, would trade all my Regional Jets for a 747 anything Punki Aug 9, 03, 7:07 pm What route will it fly? channa Aug 9, 03, 7:25 pm Originally posted by Punki: What route will it fly? It's for the new Hawaii service. dgmom Aug 9, 03, 8:11 pm What new Hawaii service? These are photos that have been altered by someone using Photoshop software. AS does not offer service to Hawaii, save for service on partner carriers like NW, AA, HA and CO. dgmom Aug 9, 03, 10:35 pm Snowdevil, thanks for the respectful answer to my question...the only way I'll learn is by asking questions and hoping for honest answers.. thanks again Dudemon Aug 10, 03, 2:35 am This is the very aircraft I flew the new AS SEA-SYD route. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/tongue.gif SEA_Tigger Aug 10, 03, 9:11 am Originally posted by dgmom: Snowdevil, thanks for the respectful answer to my question... Don't take our jesting personally, dgmom. We're a silly bunch and often take thread hyperbole to extremes. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif AS Flyer Aug 10, 03, 11:39 am Oh to dream!!! By the way - even on our new 747's, there is still not IFE - but we will happily provide DVD players to all 50 First Class passengers!!! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif opushomes Aug 10, 03, 11:47 am This is definitely the repainted Braniff 742 that has been parked in the Arizona desert. It used to do the SEA-PDX routing. It also was used to deliver WX's original fleet. Truthfully the AS board is probably the friendliest on FT and the comments were strictly in jest. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif CountinPlaces Aug 12, 03, 5:20 am Admittedly, the photo modification is fairly well done. Just saw the recent press release posted in the SEA boardroom men's lavatory. The 747 will be all coach but will charge all MVPG's first class fares. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif AS Flyer Aug 15, 03, 1:04 pm Mr. Paul - I think you must be thinking of Delta Airlines. That sounds more akin to something they would pull. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif BSL Aug 15, 03, 1:56 pm Actually the first 747 should look like this: http://www.alaskapostercompany.com/AS747.html BSL |
