"Get this straight - and make no mistake about it. This commission is not about fixing security and making sure a 9/11 doesn't happen again. If they were, they'd have already published conclusions on the AVSEC failures that allowed the terrorist attacks. If they were really independently trying to fix the situation, they'd have already illuminated the fact that the Transportation Security Administration is nothing more than the FAA on bureaucratic steroids. If this commission were really focused on dealing with security, they would have nailed Garvey, Flynn, Mineta, et al."
