Curry house to open in old 747
The owner of a chain of curry restaurants is to open his latest venture in an old Boeing 747 jet.
Salik Miah, who owns around 40 restaurants, wanted a special venue to put his Rajmoni chain on the map.
So he bought a decommissioned British Airways Boeing 747, which last flew in 1983.
He plans to open it for business next month on a two-acre plot in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire.
Designer Adnan Mallick has spent six months converting the plane, reports The Sun.
He said: "Mr Miah wanted somewhere really special as a flagship, and the jet is ideal.
