I reviewed it by searching for a couple of cities I'm visiting later this month.

There is only minimal functionality of refining the search results into number of stars. Did not see an option to request non-smoking rooms, etc.

There is no way to sort the list by price, by location, or by name.

If you are price-conscious, only the first few hotels listed showed a price. There were more hotels on the list without a price, and you would spend ages looking up each one.

Of the hotels I already booked on other sites, they all came in at the same price or cheaper than travelweb.com. No big savings here.

Upshot - I didn't find this a very useful site. It does not stand apart from the plethora of accommodation web sites already available.

For my part, I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel’s sake. The great affair is to move; to feel the needs and hitches of our life more nearly; to come down off this feather-bed of civilisation, and find the globe granite underfoot and strewn with cutting flints.
Robert Louis Stevenson (1850–1894)
