Newsstand - Getting In Unscreened
nbc6.net Article (http://www.nbc6.net/nbc6investigates/2158279/detail.html)
"The county's wrong," Black said. "They're not doing the right thing for the airport and the safety of the citizens."
Once again, we see Loy the Scumbag's policies of harassing traveling citizens while completely ignoring other obvious security flaws. Jimmy, you're a filthy disgrace. Maybe you thought that wiping your @#$ with the Constitution would improve airport security while you blissfully ignored all other potential threats. You were dead wrong, scumbag.

Spiff -- perhaps you could post a paragraph or two of each of these articles so we can tell what they're about? Someday the link might not work but the FT archives will still be here...
MIAMI -- Upstairs at Miami International Airport, passengers are screened and searched. Even the Transportation Security Administration screeners must go through metal detectors.
But downstairs, where airport employees are screened...
"You've discovered a huge hole in security," security expert Wayne Black said.
NBC 6 hidden cameras catch TSA workers going around metal detectors. (Watch this report, by clicking on the FeedRoom icon)
Two workers in blue uniforms, both of them carrying bags, try to go through, but the screener waves them around.

My apologies. I'm trying to both respect the publications' copyrights and quote the most pertinent part of the article. I'll quote a little more in the future.

I wouldn't worry about newspaper's copyrights. They need all the publicity they can get right now. :-)
I have been saying this for months now. People like Brian refused to acknowledge these huge holes in security. They based their opposition on parts of the law that states that these areas should be secured by the TSA. Unfortunately, they have still been left unattended.
The big problem is, these are not areas visible to the public in general. Sure, they can be secured but you won't get the "feel good " security the whole program is based on.

I am still watching all of this nonsense.
I believe I was quite clear in saying that there were holes in security that would be plugged, in time. Seems like they found one, and I have no doubt it will be closed, as it should be.
Please don't speak for me. This is one of the primary reasons I left FT. I don't wish to have to come back and correct you again. Thanks.

I don't need to speak for you Brian, you did so yourself in past threads. I also don't need to be corrected as I am not mistaken. If you don't wish to come back, then by all means, stay the heck away. All you do when you are here is try and start trouble anyway.

Glad to see that the kindergardeners are still running the asylum here.
Bowen, Winfield & Canzoneri in Los Angeles is running a private forum on May 15th on Homeland Security in Los Angeles (How government and business are dealing with the threat of terrorism), to which I was fortunate enough to be invited.
The program includes John Stammreich, the VP of Homeland Security for Boeing, and Dr. Robert Reville, who is the Director of the RAND Institute for Civil Justice.
While I am not privileged to know the entire agenda to be discussed, it seems safe to assume that no one will be in the audience calling Norman Mineta a Nazi, or James Loy a jackbooted thug. As a result, serious issues will be discussed by serious people, and some insights may be had by all.
As opposed to here, where everything is stuck just as I left it, including the same old people yelling the same old... nonsense, with zero tolerance for anything that could even rise to the status of original thought.
If anyone else is attending, please let me know, and perhaps we can organize a lunch. I now return to my well deserved retirement from this silliness. Thank you.

So typical of you, Brian, to start a post by insulting other members. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif
