I wish more airlines had graphical route maps on their websites, at least for longhauls, to make it easy to find stopovers and routings.

These days route maps only seem to be featured in inflight magazines.

This is really more than a route map... it is actually a map of the airways that Cathay will use for its European and Middle east service.

Correct.

Ideally, all airlines would have interactive maps with this detail level on their web sites, with selections for region, scale, and flights. It would require a little maintenance, but not much in the way of computer resources, as a real-time graphical flight tracker on a high-traffic website might.
