Newsstand - Priceline loses money

Priceline had a rotton quarter and continues to lose money. (http://www.thestreet.com/_yahoo/stocks/troywolverton/10067958.html).

They are doing more hotel business and less airline business. They also discontinued some lines of business. And they laid off 15% of staff.

I continue to use Priceline for hotels but would never consider it for air travel.

I'm not surprised...think of the stupid move they made trying to sell groceries!
I have used Priceline only for hotels, and where price is the only criteria for 1 night trips. I would never book airfare there, or a hotel stay where I wanted some control over the brand.
