We asked one former ramp agent at Oakland how easy it would have been for him or another employee to bring a bomb on a plane.
"Easy," he said. "Any person that's working there could walk on board with a bomb, a gun, a knife."</font>

"I'm surprised that it is so easy for him to have access to the airplane and the baggage area that soon. I am truly surprised."
Our photographer's new employer knew next to nothing about him. Yet his first day on the job, he had access to luggage and even to the inside of planes. He was left unsupervised, and wandered freely about the restricted area of the terminal.</font>
