I travel on business 35 to 45 segments domestically per year. I do not accumulate tons of mileage just segments. My company insist on purchasing the lowest fare. Most of my trips are planned 2 weeks in advance, so I can usually, but not always get a good fare. I am currently CO Silver and have already qualified for Silver (39 segs) for 2003. With all the FF program changes I am seriously thinking of changing FF programs. I am tall and "covet" reasonable leg room be it in coach or FC. My home airport is SDF and is served by CO mostly RJ's, Delta, NW,SW,US mostly RJ's. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, HOMEY

Fellow SDF flier, I'll answer this here before it gets moved to MilesBuzz...

AA is my airline out of SDF. I have been treated well as a Plat, and will probably be treated even better as an EXP. I can upgrade pretty much on-demand out of SDF on any fare.

DL was my former airline. I still fly them but with their unwillingness to allow upgrades on cheap fares, I have given much of my business to AA. DL is ok, but if you're on a cheap fare, you're in coach, even as a PM.

I've flown NW out of SDF and been happy with them. No segment qualification for elite, however.

I have not used USAir. United is all RJs. 4 per day to ORD and IAD. I will not fly CO.
