Nice way to make threats.

'Gee I hope that us not paying screeners because we spent so much on our office remodel causes long lines that dissuades people from flying - give us more money'.

Doh!

Let's see...

Spend money on fancy offices...

Hire more people than needed, pay them bigger salaries, volunteer to take on more and more responsibility (don't worry, there is a TSA for that)...

In fact, USA Today last week had an article about how other government agencies are being drained by the TSA's higher salaries.

And what law enforecement office wouldn't want to work for the TSA...spend 8 hours searching passengers for "contraband."

Talk about your out of control Federal government spending...

Squander your wealth America.
Keep checking my toe-nails through my open sandals.
Pass your magic wand in woodoo motions
watching them trimmed for the summer walk.
Enjoy the smell of the leather mixed with sweat.
Pretend you have a gainful employment.
You are tickling me woodoo man.

Squander your wealth America.

How is it that these idiots are permitted to operate without a budget? Why hasn't this freespending, gross financial-mismanaging incompetent boob been sacked?? If anyone ran a company in the private sector the way Norm has been running the TSA, he'd be in front of the board of directors (Congress) in a heartbeat!

"Mineta said a delay in funding could cause longer lines at airports because fewer screeners might be working passenger checkpoints. "I hope that that would not dissuade people from flying," he said. "

What it should mean is that Clown Field Marshal Mineta will stop harassing passengers at gates with "random security" screenings and concentrate his resources more intelligently. However, we've all seen that this fool has the IQ of a turnip and "zero common sense" so we shouldn't get our hopes up.

Time for Norm to pack his own bag and get the hell out of the TSA and on to a more appropriate job. Like a Burger King drive-thru attendant.

Considering how many TSA screeners were standing around at RDU and BWI, I can see where they would run out of money. My neighbor got a part time job with TSA for $20 and hour. Not bad for just standing around chatting with other TSA personnel.

In the San Francisco UX terminal, there are usually 4-5 of them sitting around, watching soap operas on TV. Then, when a flight is ready to board, 4 of them come to a gate, pick out a lucky victim, all 4 of them search the lucky victim, and then it's back to the soap operas for awhile.

$20 an hour for that? Not bad.
