HEBRON, Ky. (AP) -- The Delta Air Lines terminal at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport was shut down for 1 1/2 hours Monday because a carry-on bag that appeared to contain a knife got past security.

Security officials later said the suspicious item was not a knife, but they did not identify it or the bag's owner, said airport spokesman Ted Bushelman.

The terminal was closed at about 8:45 a.m. after a security employee saw what appeared to be a knife on the screen when a passenger's carry-on bag went through an X-ray machine, Bushelman said. Another security employee stopped the wrong bag and let the suspicious one go through, he said.
