Boeing, Israel's El Al security joint venture off
National carrier El Al Israel Airlines [ELAL.UL] and U.S. aerospace giant Boeing Co (BA) said on Monday they would not go through with a planned joint venture aimed at improving aviation security.
"El Al and Boeing deciced at this time to freeze the cooperation on the subject," an El Al spokesman said, adding El Al was not upset at the decision, which came from Boeing.
Neither El Al or Boeing would specify why they decided against the cooperation
