Size Challenged Football Fan Given Seats On Opposite Sides Of Aisle

A 25-stone rugby fotball fan who booked two plane seats for comfort on his way back from Cork in Ireland to London Heathrow after watching Wales play Ireland found he had been allocated seats on opposite sides of the aisle.

Les Price, of Llanhilleth, Gwent, flew with 12 friends on Aer Lingus to watch the game.

On the way there he had been unable to book an extra seat and squeezed into a single one.

But on the way back he paid double for a pair of seats, according to the Sun newspaper.

The 32-year-old lorry driver said: "It was crazy. I know I'm big, but I'm not that big."

Mr Price used just one seat and Aer Lingus offered him a refund on the unused seat.

Geez - the poor person crammed in the middle seat next to him wouldn't switch for that other aisle seat?? Something fishy about this story imho...
