Yemeni Passengers Detained At JFK
Port Authorities at John F Kennedy Airport in New York last night refused to allow 31 Yemeni passengers to board a British Airways (BA) flight to London.
They were barred from BA Flight 116 to Yemen via London at 11.00pm because they did not have proper visas.
Port Authority spokesman Sergeant Jeff Baumbach said that the airline called the FBI, whose Joint Terrorist Task Force began an investigation.
The 31 detainees apparently all booked their tickets with the same travel agent, he said.
