I would suggest that we step back from discussions on BSE, Foot and Mouth etc etc. doc has provided links to external expert sources, and those who wish to learn more can follow them.

There is a risk of our discussions falling into the diatribe that started up over the Bush/Gore election.

Funny you should say this, watching BBC they were saying the same thing.

The point you raise is fair enough, this is a FF board, not a medical one. However, when your travels are impacted by the problems, I feel it is okay to bring it to the boards. My travels are going to include shoe washing at the least and maybe far more over the next few months.
