what these idiots dont realize is mass transit into LAX wont work because no one will take it. they built a light rail system that gets within 1 mile of LAX and then it makes a left turn and ends in a park! the other end starts just east of compton (yuk).

what they need to do is make use of the 5 other airports within 50 miles of LAX.

connecting LAX to the other aiports with a dedicated peoplemover would allow all of the airports to be run as a single unit.

ONT, Palmdale and SBD are really under utilized. the worst part of all of this is the same people that run LAX also run ONT, Van Nuys and Palmdale

hooray for BUR!!! Burbank is to LAX as OAK is to SFO -- a godsend!

But truthfully LAX isn't really that bad IMHO. It isn't delayed all the often compared to some other large airports, and I actually *like* the layout.

This may not be exactly on the topic but IMO premium lounges at Tom Bradley need to be upgraded really fast. The fact that they have shared (and often unclean) toilets with no showers somewhere down the hall is way below acceptable for an international airport. AA's Club in the next terminal is like heaven in comparison.
