The United Kingdom Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) today published its report on the accident to Boeing 767-322ER, N653UA at London Heathrow Airport on 9 January 1998.

Along with all the technical findings and conclusions regarding the electrical damage and its cause, the UK-AAIB slams the captain for incorrect communications procedures, without giving details. I'd like to see the transcript, and hear what United has to say. (Although the name of the airline or the flight number is not mentioned in the report, the aircraft tail number indicates a 99%+ likelihood that this was a United aircraft.)
