The AFA filed a petition to conduct a union representation election for FA's at Spirit Airlines.
The AFA said FA's want job security, comprehensive benefits, revised scheduling practices & fair pay. Spirit employs about 400 FA's.
The National Mediation Board must validate this petition and subsequently order an election.
