Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan - Any phone deals besides Sprint?

I just switched to Sprint, but am not very excited about the $.10/min and $.25/min options. Is there any better phone program where I can still get miles? (I don't think there is, but it's worth a shot). Why doesn't Alaska offer a miles for a Nickel Nights account?
Plus I know I wouldn't get a bonus, but can you still get 1 mile per $1 spent on a Sprint PCS account?

Last time I talked to the Sprint agent, I was told that you could earn miles on any Sprint plan if you called Sprint directly.
Not sure about the PCS miles. I am sure there is a way though.

Yep, that's the story I last heard talking to a Sprint Rep. - you can get miles for any calling plan, including PCS. BUT, you sometimes cannot get the sign-up bonuses for all of the calling plans. (So, sign up under dime-a-minute, collect the bonus, then call to change to a better plan ??)

I signed up for Sprint eons ago, got all the bonuses, and then changed plans, and I get miles. I don't know if they still offer the plan I have (10c/min 5p-8a, 5c in california... with outrageous day rates and int'l rates)

Thanks for the replies, all. I'm going to try to get my miles for my PCS minutes. I'll tell you if it works.
