Air New Zealand Air Points - Air New Zealand circa 1985

I have just seen this Children’s book in the local Library about “The Day in the life of a Flight Attendant”. It features a FA named Lana Simpson with nice pictures of her packing, leaving home and all those things FA's do in a working day.The front blurb says Lana Simpson has been flying since the days of the Electras!

What really struck was how hideous the 1985 uniform was?? The blouse was quite attractive but the rest of it…oh my god……..what a disaster!!!!!. Especially that belt over the jacket and the handbag. Mad_Atta, even you would look terrible in that uniform

An amusing book with some interesting photos of Lana on and off duty. I wonder if she still flies??

PS: I'd like to think I'd look fabulous in anything. And now that I think of it, I seem to remember a pic of airnzboy in one of the old retro NZ uniforms for the final flight of the 732s... now, where was that thread?

I remember that thread too but for the life of me I can't remember where. Was it the one with airnzboy in NACs last FA uniform??????
