Air New Zealand Air Points - Departure Tax Waver

Hi all
Im coming home for one night between flights and was wondering, isnt there a exemption for the departure tax as it isnt 24 hours between them???

Just show your ticket showing your arrival and the one showing departure within 24 hours to the guy at the departure entrance and all should be fine.
If going through the *G Koru area it should be even easier.

Im sitting in the TG lounge in BKK waiting for my UA flight tomorrow morning, just had words to the matron at the desk as she said the flight isnt open, I was like oh please!

Instead you can get an "exempt" departure tax sticker from any of the Bank of NZ airport windows that sell the regular, non-exempt stickers. Just show your inbound and outbound boarding passes and they'll put a free exempt sticker on the back of your outbound boarding card.
